2021 Fundraiser

We are raising money for Laundry Love Hamilton and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. In the past 4-5 months we have grown substantially. Holding our events by appointment only has been a huge hit. It allows flexibly for our guests to come in at a time that works for them unlike our face-to-face events where they were limited to a certain evening and hours. As always thank you for your support! I've included information about Laundry Love Hamilton below. Laundry Love Hamilton opens an opportunity for both the homeless and low-income to access a laundry facility once a month to do their laundry, receive hygiene items, non-judgmental environment, and local resource packet full of resources that will aid them in getting assistance. For an individual our laundry limit is 3 loads, 5 loads for a couple and 8 loads for a family. We provide the laundry detergent, fabric softener and quarters. Our homeless are living in their vehicle’s, with family, a borrowed camper, or tents. Our services enable our low-income neighbors to use their income to pay for rent, food, pay utilities and gas to get to work. Having clean clothes and bedding should not be considered a luxury to anyone. Children have started school and should have clean clothes to attend everyday not worrying about if their clothes are clean. The hope is they will focus more on their education, attend school more and hopefully not be bullied. In addition to requesting monetary donation, we can always use hygiene items, granola bars, peanuts, and bottled water. We want to thank our community and businesses for being so supportive of our mission to restore dignity to our neighbors.
